1. Tuna by Martin Gimenez Castro

Right by the Vistula, Tuna is the new project from renowned chef Martin Gimenez Castro. Recognized by the Michelin Guide in 2024, the restaurant offers a distinctive take on seafood cuisine.
The “head-to-tail” concept here is more than just a slogan. The chef makes masterful use of every part of the fish, creating unexpected interpretations of classic dishes. The bluefin tuna tartare stands out for its purity of flavor – one of those dishes that stays with you long after the meal. Their signature chili con tuna is prepared so skillfully that it could easily pass for a traditional meat dish.
The menu feels like a journey across the world’s waters, from tropical seas to Arctic ones. The yellowtail sashimi deserves special attention – some guests consider it one of the best dishes they have ever had. Corvina and other seafood are prepared with the same consistent respect for the product.
The restaurant follows strict sustainable fishing principles, working only with responsible suppliers. That is part of the philosophy here – preserving the richness of the ocean for future generations.
The wine cellar, curated by an experienced sommelier, offers a carefully selected collection. The Barolo is particularly good and pairs beautifully with the fish dishes.
The waitstaff show a deep knowledge of the menu and are happy to explain the origin of each ingredient and the cooking methods behind the dishes. The location near Centrum Nauki Kopernik metro station makes the restaurant easy to reach, although prices are in line with the level of the cuisine.
2. Czarnomorka

The first time you try oysters at Czarnomorka, it becomes clear that this place was made for seafood lovers. The restaurant offers an impressive selection of nine kinds of fresh oysters, with the Irish Supreme standing out in particular for its flawless flavor.
The summer terrace on Nowy Świat gives the place the feel of a seaside café: greenery all around, slow conversation, and a glass of sparkling wine that pairs perfectly with the seafood. Beyond the oysters, the menu also delivers with smoked mackerel and fried fish with a crisp crust.
On weekdays, certain menu items are discounted, which makes the seafood a bit more accessible, although prices still remain in the upper range.
One thing to keep in mind: in the evening the restaurant is usually full, and the wait can stretch out. Czarnomorka is a mid-range restaurant chain that works equally well for a romantic dinner or a get-together with friends over a dozen oysters and a glass of sparkling wine.
3. Seafood Station

At Seafood Station, the seafood is always exceptionally fresh and brought in directly from coastlines around the world. The restaurant has made the Forbes top 30 restaurants in Poland for the second year in a row, and it is easy to see why.
I was impressed by the lobster’s delicate meat, which the waiter expertly carved right in front of me. The menu is strikingly varied, from classic Oysters Rockefeller to authentic British fish and chips, and each dish is accompanied by a carefully chosen wine. In the Thai seafood soup with coconut milk, the seafood practically overflows from the bowl, and the octopus is cooked until it almost melts in your mouth.
It is an expensive place, but the quality justifies every złoty. The service deserves special mention too – the waiters turn dinner into a real culinary journey.
4. Reina Steakhouse

The seafood at Reina Steakhouse stands out for its freshness – the restaurant receives new deliveries from different parts of the world every day. The scallops prepared with pineapple and soy sauce were my personal discovery of the evening.
The menu offers an impressive variety of seafood, from delicate tuna tartare to grilled octopus. The wine list includes around 100 labels selected to pair well with the seafood. Behind the bar, they also make signature cocktails that complement the menu beautifully.
5. Der Elefant

At the Fish and Oyster Bar in Der Elefant, they serve salmon tartare and scallops, while the main menu includes tuna steaks and grilled swordfish. Their signature fish soup is made with a rich broth, large pieces of fish, and two kinds of sauces on the side – aioli and sea mayo.
To finish the meal, you can order the dessert that has already become the restaurant’s calling card – an airy pavlova with wild berries.
6. Murena

Not far from the Vistula, Murena is a small seafood restaurant with a Japanese accent and a raw bar, where dinner can easily turn into a full gastronomic experience. The menu includes sashimi, nigiri, rolls, and seafood, and the entire concept revolves around fresh fish.
I would come here not for a formal “main course and a glass of wine” kind of dinner, but for an evening with several rounds of dishes. If you sit at the bar, you can watch the chef prepare nigiri and sashimi right in front of you – there is something almost meditative about that precision. Based on both the reviews and the menu itself, the standouts here are toro bluefin, hamachi, scallops, sashimi, and nigiri: the fish is very fresh, the textures are clean, and nothing feels heavy or overworked.
The cocktail list is not an afterthought either, and the atmosphere works just as well for a date as it does for a calm conversation without too much noise.
The team works quickly, dishes come out at a good pace, and the waitstaff are friendly and genuinely engaged. Murena is one of those places that has not yet become too obvious to everyone, but already feels like one of the strongest seafood spots in Warsaw.
