Every year, more gyms open in Warsaw – from compact neighborhood clubs to huge fitness centers with pools and spa areas. But in practice, the differences between gyms become obvious very quickly: some rely mostly on stylish interiors, while others actually offer modern equipment, proper ventilation, clean locker rooms, manageable crowd levels, and professional trainers.
In this list, I have gathered the best fitness clubs in the capital where the overall quality really is up to par. One thing worth clarifying right away: this list does not include well-known budget chains like Zdrofit. Everyone already knows about them, and the quality there depends too much on the specific location – one branch may be perfectly decent, while another can feel like a basement weight room from the 2000s.
And if you want to mix up your free time outside the gym, take a look at our rankings of Warsaw’s best restaurants, shopping malls, and nightclubs.
1. Heart Gym & Wellness

The two-level Heart Gym & Wellness at the Radisson hotel is one of the most complete options in central Warsaw if you want more than just a gym, but a combination of training and spa in one place.
The ground floor has a cardio and functional training area with a boxing bag. There is also a separate studio for group classes, and when it is not in use, it can also be used for individual workouts. On the lower ground floor, there is a full strength-training area with all the essential equipment needed for a solid workout session.
One of the club’s biggest advantages is the 12.5-meter pool. On weekdays it is usually not overcrowded, while most of the heavier traffic comes on weekends. There are loungers next to it, so after training it is actually possible to recover for a bit instead of just jumping out of the water and rushing off. The spa area includes two dry saunas – a small one for 3 people and a larger one for 5. Guests are given towels, and there is also refreshing lemonade, which is a small detail, but somehow it always improves the overall impression.
In terms of everyday comfort, everything here is set up properly: free underground parking, towels, shower products, body lotion, and Wi-Fi. Massages and personal training are also available.
What matters most is that the club has a strong reputation for the basic things that usually fall apart elsewhere: no lines for machines, equipment in good working order, clean premises, and ventilation and air conditioning that actually work properly. The music is not blasting across the entire gym, so it is easier to train, and the reception staff are usually helpful without unnecessary hassle.
2. STELLAR premium fitness club

STELLAR, near the Hilton, is a place for people who care not only about the gym itself, but also about having a proper aquatic area. The main feature here is the 25-meter pool, where it is actually possible to get in a good swim.
The gym is spacious, with modern equipment for strength training and cardio. Even during peak hours, it usually does not feel overcrowded, and that is one of the club’s main advantages. There is a varied schedule of group classes – from more intensive formats to yoga. Personal trainers help create individualized programs, so the club is suitable not only for people who have been training on their own for a long time, but also for those who want a clear plan with guidance.
The wellness area includes a jacuzzi and saunas for recovery. The equipment is regularly maintained and updated, and the locker rooms, jacuzzi area, and sauna area were all recently renovated.
3. So Well Gym

So Well Gym, near the Grand Theatre, operates 24/7 with no days off, and that alone meets the needs of people for whom standard opening hours are inconvenient.
The gym is equipped with new premium Technogym machines. Overall, the place looks very solid, although for some visitors the setup may not feel ideal: sometimes it lacks basic things such as a hyperextension bench or an adductor machine – the gym is fairly small. That will not be critical for everyone, but if someone trains according to a very specific program, it is a detail worth keeping in mind beforehand.
There is a noticeable emphasis on group classes here. The schedule includes stretching, Pilates, and yoga, all led by experienced trainers. Recovery services are also available through a massage therapist and rehabilitation specialist who also works with injuries.
Clients are provided with towels, shower cosmetics, slippers, hot and cold drinks, as well as light snacks. The administrators and staff are usually attentive and can help with exercise technique. Personal trainers are also available and create programs based on the client’s goals. Taken together, this is a club for people who care less about maximum floor space and more about service, 24/7 access, and a more polished format.
4. CHANGE Studio

At Elektrownia, there is a small premium fitness club called CHANGE Studio, which combines four areas under one roof: yoga, Pilates, strength training, and spa. The company recently opened a second club closer to Warsaw’s business center, on Wronia 10.
The gym is equipped with machines from the Italian brand Technogym – treadmills, cardio machines, and strength stations. Two studios with Himalayan salt walls and a multi-zone sound system are used for group classes. The Pilates studio is fitted with Balanced Body reformers from Los Angeles, which are used by professionals around the world. The fitness area also includes premium accessories from Escape Fitness, PENT, and Bala to add more variety to workouts.
Among the signature programs, one of the most popular is “Train like a model” – a workout complex focused on strengthening and toning the muscles. The spa area offers 12 types of massage, including Balinese, sports, and anti-cellulite massage, performed on a German-made Gharieni massage table.
A lot of attention has been paid to the design of the interiors – the yoga studio has a glass ceiling for natural light, and the spa is designed with a relaxing atmosphere, dim lighting, and wooden elements.
The club positions itself as one of the more premium options in Warsaw, which is backed up by the quality of both the equipment and the interior finish.
5. Papaj Gym Warsaw

The small Papaj Gym is located in Warsaw’s Praga district in a spacious interior with high ceilings. The gym has all the essential equipment for strength and cardio training. The main room holds around 40 people, which creates some difficulties during peak hours – sometimes you have to wait for machines to become available.
The trainers have formal qualifications and extensive practical experience. They create individualized workout plans and pay close attention to exercise technique. Trainer Przemek is especially often singled out for his professionalism and ability to motivate clients.
The gym has locker rooms with enough space, large mirrors for checking form, a sauna, and a relaxation area with coffee. There is also an on-site sports nutrition store with regular promotions from partners.
Popular techno music plays in the gym. Beginners are given an introductory walkthrough on how to use the equipment. It is also possible to get advice through Facebook chat.
6. GAMAGYM

Conveniently located by the Vistula, GamaGym offers a gym equipped with modern machines and a separate studio for group classes.
The club is open until 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and until 8:00 p.m. on weekends, which may be inconvenient for people who train late in the evening. Membership includes access to a Finnish sauna with aromatherapy and light therapy functions. Despite periodic crowding during peak hours, the trainers here are qualified and attentive to clients.
One important detail is that the club requires payment for at least two months in advance, even if you plan to attend less often.
7. Quantum Fitness

Quantum Fitness has shown a clear decline lately. Once a popular fitness club, it has dropped in our ranking because of increasingly frequent complaints about service and cleanliness.
The gym has a decent range of machines, but there is often a shortage of benches for bench press exercises, since trainers tend to occupy them for personal sessions. There is a Finnish sauna with salt inhalation, a steam bath, and cryotherapy. Group classes are offered in yoga, Pilates, and interval training.
On the plus side, the location is convenient and the gym is not overly crowded. There are always bananas at the reception desk for a quick snack. However, the staff often seem uninterested in clients.
Quantum Fitness may work for group training sessions, although there are fewer of those now as well, but serious athletes would be better off looking at other options.
