Cold evenings are exactly when a good sauna feels most worthwhile, and Warsaw has no shortage of strong options for different budgets and preferences.
This list brings together places for different kinds of visits: a large urban wellness complex, a floating sauna, calm options in the city center, and more private formats for a group.
And if you are looking for other ways to spend your time, take a look at our rankings of Warsaw’s best restaurants, nightclubs, and cinemas, where we also give an honest take on the city’s most worthwhile spots.
1. Studio Sante Uzdrowisko Miejskie

Quiet music and dim lighting welcome visitors to this unusual spa complex located not far from the city center. Studio Sante stands out from other sauna venues because of its size and the range of experiences available.
The main highlight of the complex is a Finnish sauna that fits 70 people and regularly hosts sessions led by professional sauna masters. There is also a unique Japanese stone sauna, ganbanyoku, where visitors lie on volcanic slabs heated to 42°C. This type of sauna is said to support detoxification and help speed up metabolism.
The complex also includes two steam saunas, one of them hydrogen-based, an infrared sauna for the joints, an aromatic spruce sauna, and a bio sauna with pink lighting. For cooling down, there are two pools, one indoors and one outdoors.
Studio Sante presents itself as the first hydrogen spa complex in Europe. Hydrogen is available in several forms here: through inhalation in the relaxation areas, through drinking fountains, and through jacuzzis filled with hydrogen-infused water.
Additional amenities include a salt cave, a relaxation room with gold-coated walls, jacuzzis, and an icefall. It is also possible to rent a private sauna for four people or a hammam for individual treatments.
In the swimsuit spa zone, guests have access to a pool, two jacuzzis, and tanning lamps. There is also a snack bar with an electronic menu and delivery straight to your relaxation area.
The complex stays open until midnight. On Monday evenings, women-only days are held. The venue is a member of the Polish Sauna Society and strictly enforces sauna etiquette and bathing rules.
2. Theriva

Theriva is one of the better choices in the center if you are not looking for a huge water complex, but rather a neat, well-organized spa space where everything feels properly thought through. Here you will find a sauna, cold plunge pools, massage treatments, and cozy relaxation areas.
The sauna at Theriva is spacious and never feels cramped, which is already a plus for such a central location. After that, it is easy to move on to the cold plunge and cold showers if you like contrast therapy. The plunge pools are what many people remember most here: they wake you up, reset you, and create that feeling of “walking out a different person” that draws people to places like this in the first place. The massages also get a lot of praise. Several guests have come back specifically because of the therapists’ level of work, and massages by Viktoria are mentioned especially often.
There are also women-only evenings, which matters to part of the audience. Add to that the convenient central location and parking. In terms of location, orderliness, service, and price, this is one of those places people tend to return to more than once.
3. Zanu Urban Sauna

A sauna on the water is something a little different. At Zanu Urban Sauna, a traditional Finnish steam room has been set up on a barge moored by the river. Through the panoramic window, visitors look out at the city lights and the bridge, which creates a special atmosphere during each session.
The main focus here is on a slower, more Eastern-inspired sauna style. Instead of extreme temperatures and sharp cooling, the experience is built around smooth transitions and comfortable recovery in a spacious relaxation room. For those who prefer a stronger contrast, there is also an ice-cold plunge pool.
The biggest highlight is the daily sauna ceremonies led by professional masters. Each evening, one specialist conducts four or five different sessions with carefully selected music and aromatherapy.
There is a bar in the relaxation area serving light snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. The venue also has a convenient changing room with lockers, showers, and toilets. To avoid overcrowding, visits are organized through an advance booking system.
On Tuesdays, women-only “Sauna Sisters” evenings are held, with scrubs, masks, and brushing rituals. On Sundays, daytime women’s sessions called “Fokarium” are organized. On the other days, the sauna is open to everyone.
In addition to regular sauna sessions, the venue also hosts evenings with vibrational music, meditation, yoga, whisk massages, and natural body care treatments.
4. SPA FOR YOU

When looking for the ideal place to unwind, people often forget that the most important factor is the professionalism of the staff. At SPA FOR YOU, the massage therapists have many years of experience, accurately identify problem areas, and tailor their approach to each client individually.
The hot stone massage is especially impressive. The therapists pay close attention to how each client feels throughout the treatment, which makes it easier to fully relax and trust the process.
The spa center offers different programs, from classic massages to special rituals for couples. There are also dedicated programs for men with matching scents. For bachelorette parties and friendly get-togethers, group sessions with candle massage are available.
That said, this venue positions itself primarily as a spa center rather than a sauna complex.
5. DOSiR – Praga-Północ

The sauna at this sports complex has been set up for a comfortable and straightforward visit. The Finnish dry sauna accommodates six people and is equipped with color therapy lamps. A session lasts around 25 minutes: 8 to 12 minutes in the heated room, followed by roughly the same amount of time for gradual cooling down. Tuesdays are reserved for women-only sessions, while the rest of the time the sauna is mixed.
Regular visitors often mention the family-like atmosphere and the friendly staff at reception. After a recent renovation, a salt cave and a “sun meadow” for warming the feet were added.
The only thing guests tend to mention as missing is a cold shower for contrast cooling.
6. Sauna Wisła

In the marina, among boats and ducks, there is a floating sauna for up to eight people. Six guests fit comfortably; eight is possible, but it gets tight. The temperature in the sauna stays around 90°C, creating a pleasant contrast with the winter cold outside the window.
Everything needed for a full relaxation cycle is here: spacious lockers, a shower, a toilet, and two infrared loungers in the relaxation area. Over the course of an hour and a half, it is easy to fit in three full rounds of sauna, cooling, and rest.
There is a plunge pool in the cooling area, although anyone taller than 175 cm may need to be a bit flexible to submerge fully. After the session, guests can recover with non-alcoholic drinks, from beetroot shots to mineral water and alcohol-free sparkling wine.
It is important to bring your own towel, slippers, and water, as these are available on site for an extra charge. Parking is just a few steps from the entrance.
7. Leń. Sauna&Grill

The Finnish sauna, jacuzzi, and pool complement each other well, allowing guests to alternate between different temperatures. Visitors especially appreciate the fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, and refrigerator, which makes it possible to cook full meals or heat up food brought from home. There is also a covered gazebo on the property, offering protection from bad weather during gatherings.
For entertainment, there is a pool table, and the yard includes a barbecue area with loungers. The place works well both for family time and for celebrating special occasions such as birthdays, bachelorette parties, and bachelor parties. Parents also note that the grounds feel safe for children.
The owners keep the place clean and provide all the necessary tableware. Guests regularly come back thanks to the cozy atmosphere and the attentive approach of the staff. Private parking is available. Booking in advance is recommended, especially for weekends.
8. Leśna sauna

A sauna with a view of wild nature turned out to be an unexpected discovery for me. Inside, the spacious room easily fits a small group. The stove is wood-fired, which allows the stones to be heated to the desired temperature. A large window in the changing area looks out onto a pasture where Scottish cows and horses graze.
Next to the sauna, there is a relaxation area with a Native American-style tipi. After the sauna, guests can take a walk along the river or set up a picnic in nature. The changing area has everything needed: hooks, benches, and an outdoor shower.
The only downside is the use of a portable toilet instead of a permanent bathroom. The owners stay in touch with guests and respond quickly to requests. The place works well both for a quiet solo-style retreat and for meeting up with a larger group.
